Join us for a four-day immersive gathering honoring the living warrior and healing legacies of Africa, the African Diaspora, and the Global South. Held over Juneteenth weekend, this intensive brings together practitioners and community members to train and honor martial traditions born from resistance
The Experience
Our curriculum bridges rigorous physical training with historical depth. Participants will engage in:
Weaponry: Stick and blade arts from diverse global lineages.
Unarmed Combat: Traditions including Capoeira, Kalaripayattu, 52 Blocks, Silat, and Panantukan.
Knowledge Exchange: Lectures and discussions on historical and cultural contexts.
Restoration: Movement-based healing and recovery practices.
